Hi, I’m Christine Hockman
Founder of One Degree Shifts, Leadership Coach, Speaker, Wife and Boy Mom.
I’m committed to living and leading fully inspired — with optimism, curiosity, adventure and meaningful impact.
And I’m proud to have helped hundreds of leaders do the same.
I believe joy is our natural state — but it gets buried under the weight of stress, busyness, and distraction.
I’m here to help you clear the noise, reconnect with what matters, and reclaim your joy.
My clients call me their Business Doula, Leadership Therapist and the GOAT of Life Coaches.
Why? Because together, we create powerful, lasting change.
My Coach Superpowers include:
Helping them unlock and embody their true, best selves
Rewiring limiting beliefs and thought patterns
Drawing out insights and answers they didn’t know they had
Building deep resilience — mentally and emotionally
Challenging self-sabotaging habits and blind spots
Teaching them how to bounce back from stress in minutes — no longer days or weeks
Guiding them to show up as more present, patient and empowered leaders, parents, and partners
Creating breakthroughs that drive real results — like saving one client’s business over $100K in a single session
I'm honored to be a catalyst for their growth. But my clients deserve the real honor. They choose to show up, do the work and lead themselves forward with courage and commitment. That’s where transformation happens.
I’m doing the work, too.
I’m a self-growth junkie who has devoted years of work necessary to overcome people pleasing, hyper-achiever and perfectionism habits, and other self-sabotaging behaviors that kept me playing small, living in survival mode and harming my relationships.
And the journey isn’t over — it never will be.
I believe our self-growth never stops, so I still stay curious and voraciously learn how to be a better and more conscious parent, wife, daughter, sister, friend, entrepreneur, coach, speaker and overall human.
I LOVE exploring the world with curiosity and am on a mission to activate inspiration in others.
With my clients, I’m real about my flaws and mistakes, and share my true stories and challenges. They say it’s part of why I’m such an effective coach, and I believe it, because the best leaders and coaches are vulnerable and growth-minded — not perfect.
I pour into my own growth, self-care and joy because when I’m feeling fully alive and vibrant, I can pour so much more into my clients, family and others.
THIS is how all humans are destined to live and lead.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
